Oh, another question - Is this game in early access?

I feel like I'm losing my mind, but I was excited to learn this game was released on Steam. I don't.. *think* I saw an early access tag? But with the bugs and such, I feel like.. this game is? Or maybe it's just in update oblivion?

I don't know. I was just curious. Again, I tend to miss things, so uh.. Don't be mean. XD

might as well still be. just had a crash loose me 5 fish for donations and 3 for offerings on the 2nd of winter, im just glad my crops are saved from the day before. thanks coral island really

I had high expectations for version 1.0, but it still has a lot of bugs and grammar errors when communicating with people. Moreover, during Spooky Day, people were talking as if they were wearing costumes, but they were not. Additionally, some items still had the TBD or WIP tags. I feel that the game was not ready for a "full release," which is disappointing because what is working is quite fun.

It definitely should be. There's no world in which this should be labelled 1.0 when even the main story quests are WIP.

Should still have the EA tag. But either way hope they get the game sorted soon. Would love to give it a go

They had it as EA, wiped everyones saves because 'you'd miss out on new content and they have changed so much since that and release'... turns out that the game is exactly the same as the EA last patch version with even more bugs

the games quite unfinished, has a bunch of poor design decisions... it was forgivable in EA but now that they call this release its not

Now that it is considered 1.0, they will not wipe saves again. Thank god.

It's technically in version 1.0

However the game is incomplete and missing large chunks of content.
The main story just ends. The merfolk stuff isn't implemented. There's a lot of WIP tags around. Some romances aren't finished. There's tons of bugs and glitches.

Sadly they got greedy and pushed the game out as "finished" long before it was.
It's still a fun game, with lots to do. But you're in no way getting the complete experience currently.

Unless one of their patches makes old saves incompatible. At which point you lose your progress.

Which likely will not happen considering it hit 1.0. In early access, they're at least somewhat expected to do that, whereas in 1.0 it would pretty much kill the playerbase off.

Not likely, but not impossible. Depends on how they have to change coding while working to finish the game and fix bugs and such.
