Turning OFF Build version Watermark on 1.0 Release

Good day, fellow Islanders!

I am reaching out to see if I am missing something - now that this title has released, is there an option to turn off the build version watermark on the in-game screen?

I understand during Early Access it is up so that screenshots/streams can differentiate the devs work, but now that this product is considered by devs as 1.0, is there any way to remove the watermark that makes it appear as if it is still an unfinished product?

The screenshots on the store page do not show any watermarks, but it is clearly visible on my in-game screen currently on the bottom left and right corners of this product advising of Build 1.-1.whatever.

If I have missed the spot in-game for this option, I sincerely apologize.

I also thank anyone that is able to guide me to where I can go to choose to disable the current build version on this in-game (or even via tweaks outside of game: I'm versatile).

And, fellow Islanders, I def do not intend a negative frequency with this posting outside of the feedback itself of being a tired eyesore and making it look like a less reputable 1.0 product. I am aware there are larger issues already addressed that needs addressing.

I was just a bit dubious that it was still there when I realized it, and was hopeful maybe I was the clod that had missed something relative to it on my end in settings.

I do hope that this is addressed by a patch (☘️) if not included in-game already somewhere I just am not seeing (I double-triple checked after posting).

Yea the game is basically still early access. Lets hope that'll be finished rather soon & the build version will be gone after that

Oh I quite like the game. Just I'm also disappointed by it. I've had eyes on the game for at least a year. I thought it was time to dive in. It's not.

Yeah they launched without a huge portion of the content it's insane I was so surprised when they announced they would be without the current huge patch that dropped and without co-op which was promised.

What's in it is good, but it's definitely one of those recommendations that's like, "I think it's cute BUT..." and then you get your fingers ready to list off a buncha stuff.

Came here to see if there was a way to disable this. Looks like it's still there even as of the latest big update. Was pretty excited to finally dive in, but this is a pretty big turnoff.

I'm curious why it bothers people? I see the excuse that it's bad for the screen, but how is it different from anything else that stays static on the screen, like your inventory bar and health/stamina?

Before it's constantly there and not as static or constant when you go to menus. The other are disappearing.

The SHA1 commit hash is evident on the Pause screen, and nowhere else. I wish the Developers would take a similar approach to the Build information. Why not leave the information somewhere in the game, but make it less obnoxious?

If someone needs to consult the SHA1 commit hash or Build information when submitting a bug or issue report, quickly pausing the game and having all that information there doesn't seem like a terrible compromise to me.
