Why is there so much "Diversity?"

Honestly the way people treat LGBT is sick i do agree, i guess for me i never cared honestly, i have many gay friends, and i myself am bi though i always had the thought of "do what you want" well as long as you aint forcing others to also do that. I hate being forced to do something just because some people try without it. So honestly i think everything like that shouldnt be in games or to an extent. I play games to escape all the crap going on. Like ill accept anyone i just wanna be left along to enjoy a game lol

Even growing up i was always taught to respect everyone so i guess that helped a lot unlike most kids now a days.

Honestly, the flags usually mean I'm in a safe place and don't have to make snap judgements on if I need to hide my gender or not. It's a small thing most don't think of. Someone wearing an LGBT pin or talking about their same-gender or trans partner? I feel suddenly a lot less tense! It's gotten better since I moved, for sure. But it's still something that has to be thought of.

i guess it really depends on where you are since i havent really ever had to deal with that, honestly doesnt matter to me what you wanna identify as, really whatever makes you comfortable but even I with a vision impairment (i only have just a tiny bit of central vision, really enough to do minor things like some games and walk and stuff but faces and other things are hard for me) will be told im rude since i go by the sound of the voice rather then trusting my vision, so i guess for me its some of the community that will not accept anything and would rather start a fight then admit that hey this person legit made a mistake. Which sadly is most of the people i have met.

I do agree some people base their entire identity around their sexuality which isn't healthy but the flag generally is more a visual indication that said place is safe for LGBT. Unfortunately corporations have stolen the flag to manipulate consumers but that is another debate
