Chicken coop upgrade, item collector disappeared?

Heya! I had a level 1 chicken coop that I put an auto item collector and an auto feeder in. When I upgraded the coop to lvl 2, suddenly my item collector disappeared. My chickens and ducks also have stopped spawning eggs on the ground. so I think the item collector is still picking up the eggs but I can't access the item collector. Is there a way to fix this or is this coop just lost?

I had a chest in mine that disappeared when I upgraded--but it reappeared a day later/after I quit and restarted the game. Did yours maybe come back or is it gone for good?

oh! that seemed to work, after I closed and restarted the game it appeared again. Thank you!

it happened to me too. Interestingly, even with it desapeared, it still colected.
Just go back to title screen and it comes back
