Question - How do you manage to collect more artifacts and fossils?

Hello all.

I've been playing awhile and have donated just about every fish, insect, and gem to the museum. I've donated quite a few artifacts and fossils but there are still many more to find.

I'm at a little over 200 items donated to the museum and wondering what other people do to increase their donations. Do you go diving every day? Or do you let the ocean "rest" for a week or more before diving again and (hopefully) finding more unique treasure chests and fossil nodes?

What do you do to increase your chances of finding treasure chest and nodes?

The best way I've found is to spend the whole day or so in the ocean cave. Just clear the endless amounts of trash in the endless rooms and you'll find lots of artifact coffers and fossil nodes. It helps if you upgraded the drops in the diver skill menu. During this way, you don't need to wait for the outer ocean to heal. I find a good amount every day I spend in the ocean cave so far.

Huh...I went in there once and all I got was trash. I'll give it another try. Thank you for the tip.

You can use your hoe on the beach sand and it can randomly turn up kelp, glass, trash, coffers and fossils.

Okay! The devs must have changes something because I'm now getting chests and nodes. Usually 1-2 per room. Thanks again for the tip.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday night go to Black Market ( next to lighthouse) i belive 8pm -11pm Ratih selling artifacts , fossils and chest . Every week different . :)

Enchant your scythe for item drops, item hit, and rare item drops. You'll get like 20 fossils and 20 coffers per room. Do it for your hoe, and you'll get similar drop rates for coffers and fossils on the beach and in dirt. Also get the rare item drop increasing ring from floor 30 of the fire mine.

One of them has a statue sea horse also that was the point where you met first with the Mermaids .

There are two ocean caves...one seems to average 1 chest or fossil node per room. The other one I went through 4 rooms and never found a chest or node. I *think* the good one is at a shallow depth just before descending to the silver levels. I *think* the bad one is in the 20-30 foot areas.
