Report a translation problem
I agree it's strange -- and sometimes pretty detrimental -- that we can't sell them to Sam, but I'm guessing there's either a plan in place for down the road or that they'll eventually add that ability.
Hey Emy
Can you write in English like everyone else here in the discussion area? I can not speak French. Thanks
Yes but the problem is you don't get the money until the next day. If you urgently need money for something on the same day, there is no faster alternative...
Don't be like that. You can use Google translate. There's no rule about English only in the steam forums.
It's not meant badly. But if I ask my question in English and someone answers in Spanish, another in French...etc.
Is it good? If you can already read and understand English, you can also write the answer in English.
95% here communicate in English. It's easy and fast.
As I said, I don't mean it in a bad way. But writing a French answer to an English question and expecting that you have to translate it with google translator.... Sorry, but.... ;-)
I would think the fact that you are the one asking for help would tip the scales in the direction of gratitude for any answer, even if one of them requires you to put in a little more effort. But that's just me.
Edit: Taking a second look at this thread, I realize that Emy, who tried to help you, has now deleted their answer, which is sad. Come back, Emy! Most of us can handle translations!
If they responded in their native language, chances are they ran your question through google translate themselves so they could try to help. It takes like a second, it's not that big a deal.
good game
Dont let it discourage you, you got this! I can understand what you are saying, so i think other will to ^^
I'm sorry if I expressed myself badly. It was not my intention. I speak German myself and only write in English using Google Translator. So maybe my words are chosen differently by the translator (harder than I wanted).
My intention was to say that the easiest thing to do is to write something in Google translator and then transfer the text here, rather than everybody who reads it and doesn't speak the language having to do it.
My intention was not bad, sorry.
Have a good time and peace :-)
Do not worry. I'm not mad at you, Emy ;-)
Although you can at least also sell insects at the shack. That helped me once or twice, since I tend to keep insects in a crate instead of selling them directly (as I usually fill the selling crate with other stuff).
Edit: btw, is there still a point in selling crops/fruit in the later game?
There was a quest at the beginning where Sam requested a certain amount of high-level plants to reopen the local outlet.
But since then I rarely sell him any fresh stuff as it just gives less money (and increases the problem of selling all the stuff even more).
Yes. To get the aging barrel from Jeff you need to have sold 130 bronze level crops and reach level 8 farming. There may be more quests like that in the future as well.
