BUG - tool (pickaxe) not being removed when upgrading starts
I started the upgrade process for my silver -> gold pickaxe. The 10,000 gols, 5 hardwood, and 3 gold bars were removed, but my silver pickaxe remained in my inventory.

I'm not sure if i'll receive a duplicate pickaxe in 2 days, or if my resources are simply gone. I'll have to check, but i can assume this isn't intended.

EDIT: weird, it gave me an extra gold watering can...but it didn't remove the normal watering can from my inventory. Maybe I misclicked and upgraded the wrong tool, but is the watering can not supposed to be removed while it's being upgraded?

Hi! We received similar reports where trying to upgrade a pickaxe ended up giving you an upgraded watering can when you still have your old ones. I checked about this problem with the team, this problem has been fixed and the bug won't happen again in the future!🙂

My watering can was removed from my inventory when I upgraded but I did think it failed when the "replace missing tools" option popped up for mine a couple of days later, so now I have two anyway.

where I will find this option? they got missing for a longtime and older patch.

Hi! We received similar reports where trying to upgrade a pickaxe ended up giving you an upgraded watering can when you still have your old ones. I checked about this problem with the team, this problem has been fixed and the bug won't happen again in the future!🙂

Tried to upgrade my pickaxe and ended up with bronze watering can. The transaction showed the pickaxe, but took my basic watering can. Bug hasn't been fixed, I'm afraid.

My silver pickaxe didn`t change into a gold one! I had all the needed things and gold. It is not possible to buy it!

I still have my two old tools, I can't even throw them out in trash so they take up space in a chest...

Hi guys, we have fixed them. However, the fix itself is still waiting on release queue so it hasn't reach you guys yet! Hang in there and we will update them asap 😄

It has not been fixed. I just encountered this now, almost two months later. Is there anything I can do?

Thank goodness, hopefully this fix also removes old tools in a chest too :jawafrown: I'll wait until the update. This bug also affects fishing rod and bug net, all upgrades.

Just want to add a variant of this bug that I got. I bought a silver upgrade for my pickaxe and got a silver hoe when I went to collect it. I hadn't even update the hoe to bronze 😅
