Request help on fishing times - what do they mean *exactly*?

The fishing guides say morning, afternoon, evening, night, and all day. These time frames are really important when trying for uncommon or rare fish.

My big question is - When does morning become afternoon? When does afternoon become evening? When does evening turn into night? Do any of them overlap? I.e. evening lasts a little into night? I can usually figure evening ends when I get the moon symbol on my page, but is that really when evening ends?

I know that night is after 6pm, and 1 pm is already considered afternoon.
