Mushroom log

Does that ever produce any mushrooms. My Oil press needs work

You have to put a mushroom on it, and then it will produce a second mushroom of that kind.

And currently there's no mushroom for oil press... truffle is unobtainable for now.

If you're just looking to make oil, you can use canola.

If you leave it, it'll produce two altogether, for a total of 3 (including the original).

I have multiplied my mushrooms plus 2 per log, 1 as a seed and 2 grown. HOWEVER, It may be bugged as I had mushrooms loaded and several different logs and when I went back to check on them they had all disappeared. I was cloning matsutaki and all were gone. Luckily it was still the proper season and I was able to forage a new shroom but if this one disapears I am back at square 1.

I heard that Mushroom log currently depend on your consecutive play, means if you stop playing, the counter will reset

Yeah, I had mushrooms in two logs, then I left the game and came back and the logs were empty, which is a bummer.

I've also noted that when I go into a savegame after starting the game up, all of my machines are stuck and show their current production. They don't continue until I click on each, get a message, and click that message again. I've not put anything into the mushroom logs for the time being and I have found that the tappers won't work after the savegame has been reloaded, so this time, I took them off the trees before I closed the game, then slept and exited. I hope that's repaired at some point.
