Tool gone

Hello there!

I brought my pickaxe to the blacksmith to upgrade but after the patch it's just gone. I also don't have a recovery option at the blacksmith. Is there something I can do?

I also had this happen, unable to find/recover tool upgraded before update. Hoping they patch this bug soon.

My tool wasn't taken, but the other resources required to make it were taken. When I tried it a second time, it did the same thing again. I feel like the pickaxe just isn't made to be upgraded.

Strange, I had my pickaxe upgraded twice(this as before the update)on both of my saves.

Me too... It was upgrading my axe and it's gone, I can't recover it?

same for me too , i lost my hoe went upgrading i think, i can't find it anywere.

It's gone I guess.. There is only an option to buy the sword at the blacksmith. Some people report having a recovery option at the blacksmith but I haven't seen it yet. The easiest solution would be to just add the option to buy the tools there..

Me too! I lost my golden pickaxe!!! It was upgrading, now it's gone. I can't mine anymore

Yeah it's a known bug I guess but a bad one. Had to start over again. Please just add the option to buy tools at the blacksmith -> problem solved

I'm also holding out hope for a patch. I had my axe at the Blacksmith for upgrade and now my farm is covered in wood with no way for me to remove it. Please fix. Many thanks!

Same here. I lost my golden axe! There's no recovery option at the blacksmith for me either. I had a second axe for whatever reason, so I took it to upgrade it since my golden axe just disappeared with the spring update, and now the game crashes every time I try to upgrade my axe. So I am stuck with a basic axe and can't upgrade it.
