Silky Fur?

Where to find it? So far I only got 1. I need at least 5 to donate to the temple because of the recent Autumn update (UGH), but a) monsters don't always drop loot (I kill every one of them on the level) b) it's never silky fur?

I'm currently on level 25 of Water Cave, so Earth Cave is opened up to level 40. Is there another way to get silky fur? Where's the highest chance to get it?

any of the caves has the cat monsters that leap up they all drop it (maybe 10%)

The new green monsters that look like gigantic crawlies in the earth mine drop it sometimes, I think. Try the earth mine from the beginning. Silky fur is always hard to get for me, too

I make sure to kill them, but nothing so far. Plus, I feel like the first one that I got wasn't even from the cat? This is so confusing and frustrating.

You can buy two rings that increase the drop rate

I thought they were just for tool use but my mines drop rate feels higher with them on

i started a new save and got silky fur right away in the first couple of levels of the earth cavern. i got a couple from killing snatchers specifically, not from any other monsters. the wiki says it's more likely to drop from snatchers and then tuku-tuku but not from any other monsters
