pig truffles

Ive had my pig for quite a while now, but it doesnt seem to be getting me truffles, do i need to keep out in open to roam free, or shouls it still produce truffles while in a barn?

They produce truffles every 4 days that they are outside. They can't find truffles in your barn.

I think they might also need some grass when they're outside but I'm not sure

Yes, the do also need grass, so if it's winter you need to keep putting down starters.

you should get white truffels instead of normal ones when your pigs have enough hearts
