Did not receive the Diving Letter from Ling

I have started a new game yesterday and I am now on Summer 5th .The internet says that everyone should receive the letter from Ling on the 8th of spring,but I never got it. So diving is not unlocked now. Is that a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

No worries, guys. The devs do regularly check these forums, particularly after updates, so they'll see your posts. I'm sure there are already a number of notices of this problem on Discord.

I know your saying you didn’t get the letter I’ve had this issue before and I just went down to the docks and to the boat and it let’s me go diving anyway have you tried this? Or are you saying you can’t even get close to boat that’s at the dock for the diving?

@Padgey - Yes,I tried to go to the dock,but it is still locked with the sign before the event with Ling. So,no. I can't go diving and I am almost in fall now.

Same here, no letter and i am in fall year 1. Have tried going to the dive area multiple times on different days, still locked. Does suck not being able to get kelp lol, having to hand water 100s of crops is painful xD
