The ring toss at Spooky Festival was another crappy one - apparently Archie nailed every single ring except for one so you have to have a perfect round to win. That's... a little off-putting. (I also noticed that the same 3 people had the exact same ranks for every trivia session and while that one was whatever because you can do it as many times as you want, it still felt a little unnatural.)
Some are, others are not. It's fairly inconsistent in what can and can't be repeated.
The only minigame I know that's NOT infinitely repeatable is the balloon minigame new years eve, caught me by surprise because it was the one time I decided I didn't want to use the practice option as I might as well try the real thing and try over if I failed the first try while learning the minigame.
from more of a story pov i could understand if some games or events werr always planned on being unwinable from the start, as its not entirely realistic for a single person to somehow be better then everyone on the island
Sunny swim at 15.62 seconds with no break. even with 800 stamina i run out before end and have to rest. my best time was 2nd with 16.72 sec
That would really stink.
I was curious so I tried using a turbo controller, no matter how good you do its a back and forth afair since the other pullers on your team get weak and strong intermitently (represented by their bar), as long as you keep pressing A you'll win eventually but it goes on forever.
Game should honestly still be in Early Access so much is unfinished (which is a shame cause I'm loving the story, art style and gamepay)
