Ling cut scene doesn't happen.

I forgot to go to the diving pier on the 8th day and now Ling doesn't spawn at the pier to start the cut scene to give me the next task, is there a way to fix this?

Can you go to her in the lab? Maybe it will trigger the scene anyway? Have you checked to see if you can still dive?

I was able to dive and everything but I had a bunch of bronze and silver kelp and nothing to do with it. It wouldn't trigger the guy coming to give me the extractor. I did got to her in the lab a couple times but she kept saying come see me at the diving pier or something like that. Id go there and no cut scene but I could dive.

I have the same issue. I can dive but the cutscene won't trigger, so I'm stuck without being able to progress that quest.

Exactly my problem as well. I'd rather not start a new game. Has anyone found a solution yet??? I cant finish the quest this way, which means i can't dive further than 20m deep into the ocean and I also can't advance to townrank C. I'M STUCKK!!!

What is preventing you from diving further than 20m? Are you not able to give the three turtles their requests?

I activated all 20 solar Orbs and the black vines at the end of the staircase (with the dragon statues) dont dissapear so I can't go through. The vines near the door in the ocean also don't dissapear. I think it has something to do with not being able to complete the main quest with Ling =(

So I think Ling is the one preventing me from advancing cuz she just wont show up at the pier??? And yes I gave all 3 turtes the product they want.

If it's the staircase with the vines at the bottom, those open from the other side. Go around the southern edge of the map and look for orange coral steps. They look like layered pancakes. That's the way down. They just don't look like stairs, so everyone misses them.

Those orange pancake stairs are already below 20m deep. I'm stuck above the 20m, which means i cant access those orange stairs yet. I mean the stairs before the orange pancake stairs =)

Have you sent the devs your game file, either though discord or email? So they can try to find where the issue is?

The devs have already said that it's fixed, but you'll need a new save. If you missed the cut scene, that save file is broken.

i continued my playthrough from a year ago. And i was on like day 8 or something, and now im on 14.
is that quest important to finish the game or not really?
