Cant place home decor

I got 2 home decor items from sam but it wont give me any option to place them. i got the first home upgrade where i got the tv and i tried using P in my home but theres no option to place them or even put them in my home decor storage. Its the classic lamp and decorative vase

Ran into a similar problem -- didn't realize, but you must have collected the 50 wood, 20 rock, and then visited the carpenters to get the house finished being repaired first. Once complete, you can then enter Decor Mode via "P."

I know but that wasnt the issue. my house i fully upgraded with the kitchen and everything. some decor items are just bugged

I'm also having this issue, i've purchased rugs from Sam that are marked as home decor and am unable to place them--or even add them to storage. I can't place them anywhere, all i can do is put them in a chest. I Have fully repaired my house but have not added any additional upgrades. The item in question is the "Love Rug."

I have the same problem. I can place it but it shows up as invisible. Took me forever to find it again in Decor mode and after I did, it did let me remove it back into storage. but placing it again does not make it show up.

Having this issue with the full release.
Bought the upgraded house, purchased Beach themed decor to place inside but upon trying to select them to be placed down it just gives me the negative sound and nothing happens. And this does not apply to the other items you get automatically with the house. I can remove and place those without a problem.

I'm having this exact same problem. I even emailed a video demonstrating and explaining the problem to the devs but sadly no reply yet :(

Hi everyone! I'm glad to share that the Decor Mode issue where some items couldn't be placed has been successfully addressed in Steam's latest version (v1.0-947). 🙂
