Upgraded water can is no difference. Help Please?

i was so excited when finially i struck it rich in the mines and was able to mine the 20 bronze ore needed to upgrade my water can to bronze.

well my excitment turned into severe disappointment when i use my new water can and there is no difference!!!!?? i was assuming it would water more then one square at a time like my old wooden can??? Is this a GLITCH?

Are you holding the "use" button down longer? It should be watering three squares instead of one.

You hold down the [activate] key for additional tool features. the default Watering Can covers 1 square, Bronze 3, Silver 5 and Gold 9. You'll see the same results with the Hoe.
