What are you suppose to do with fossil nodes? It says to bring them to the laboratory, but there doesn't seem to be any way to utilize it there.

I did finish that quest. I'm just not sure where in the lab I'm suppose to use it.

You can buy fossil nodes from the night merchant near the lighthouse, when she has them.

so how are we suppose to do with the fossil node??

i dont think its in the game yet, there is alot of sort of half finished content in this game, like the game tells you there is festivals but on the day they dont work properly, or you unlock bait very early on in the game but its not there, you will have to wait for updates like us all and get frustrated with the fact certain aspects of the game are half finished,

You use the Fossil nodes in the lab. Don't gift it as eventually you will use it on the computer there. It's not in the game yet.
