Infinite producing honey time
I'm not sure if it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong, but honey will never end producing, every time I go to look if it finished, it's on 0%

Anyone else having this trouble?

If you are already are doing this, then you've hit a bug, but do you know that, apparently, you have to insert flowers into the hives, like they're coins going into a vending machine?

I haven't gotten to that point yet but I read about it in another thread and was . . . dismayed. Cleaning trash off the ocean floor with a scythe and an infinite oxygen tank is one thing, but this whole beehive/flower thing is just too crazy.

My production isn't infinite, but it does take VERY long to produce honey after adding flowers.

i planted lots of flowers around my hives and patiently waited and waited and waited.. Finally i asked me friend how long does this dang honey take, she told me you had to insert the flowers into the hive, not grow them around them.... DOH for me lol... So days and days later finally got some honey..

Same here, my bee house is rarelly producing any honey, almost never, rarelly some honey. I inserted flowers in them in some day of spring and it is now 9 of Summer and it still isn't finished.

I know they nerfed the honey but right now the game is unbalanced anyway summer day 1 go fishing for sharks you can make 10 grand a day do that for 28 days don’t even worry about farming and you will have more money then you can spend by the end of summer

I took long to find that I had to put flowers inside to produce the honey, but even when I found I barely couldn't produce honey. I finally could do it by leaving it there for long, but I think the fact of right clicking to check how the progress is going resets the progress bar to 0 because many times I did it it was at 0, but if i just leave it until the honey is done, it takes long, but it produces the honey.

So just in case, don't check how the honey is until there is honey to get -_-"

so glad it's not just me, I swear I've been waiting *forever* to get honey. I have two bee houses, both full, and they've been sat there doing nothing for days.

There are better flowers for honey than the ones you find around the island. Mostly planting certain ones you can buy net you the best profit. Lilies, orchids, sunflowers especially. If you can find the titan arums that are minimally found around in fall, they will net you a very large sum as black honey when sold. Honey takes a while, like everything else. But as long as your hives are kind of bouncing up and down, they are working and honey will show up. I've shipped quite a lot of it so far. From what I've heard, it's good to stock up on flowers for the winter when they are not so available.

Isn’t there a bug that if you only play a few days it resets the timer so let’s say honey takes 7 in game days and you play for 5 and turn the game off the next time you play your honey is back at 0 rather then 5 days in

I was about to post this same thing, I just read there was a bug like this for the tappers. If you quit out of the game before they are done, it resets to 0. Maybe the bee houses are doing the same for some people?
