Video Memory Allocation Error

I saw there was a thread for this already on the 12th but it had nothing in there except two people agreeing to have the same problem. So, here it is again.

I was able to make my character but as soon as I attempted to launch the game proper, I got an error about not being able to allocate video memory. I'm trying to run on a ZenBook UX425EA_UX425EA laptop that has a intel i7 processor. The integrated graphics card is Intel Iris Xe, which should be able to run the directx needed for Coral Island and I've verified the drivers are up to date, but even with every setting set to low or off, the game can't find the memory.

Comparing details, I have a 124 bit Bus and a 68 GB/s Bandwidth compared to the wanted 192 bit and 144.2 GB/s since, well, it's a zenbook laptop that I got mainly for writing and internet. Is this enough difference for it to not be able to reach the memory, even though I have 4 GB for it, double the minimum? Does it need to be so high?

Coral Island doesn't support integrated graphic cards.
You need dedicated graphics cards to play Coral Island.

Here's the minimum Requirement :

GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740, 2 GB or AMD Radeon R7 250, 2 GB

DETAILS: Low 720p @ 30 FPS

Recommended Specifications:

OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10

PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600

MEMORY: 8 GB RAM

GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, 4 GB or AMD Radeon R9 380X, 4 GB

DETAILS: High 1080p @ 60 FPS

I see. Well, that's disappointing; Especially as basically the only spec that really misses the minimum is, as I said, the GPU's bandwidth. That's a pretty deep spec for a casual computer user to search for when everything else is above the baseline performance wise.

I deeply hope that this is only an EA limitation as I've been looking forward to this game since just a little while after the kickstarter closed and it breaks my heart that it's inaccessible unless I get a whole new computer when my current one is less than a year old.

Unfortunately laptops are usually not geared towards gaming unless you specifically buy one for that. They’re only meant to do less resource intensive tasks like you mentioned writing and internet.

The game will eventually come to console though after full release if you have that option :D
