cant eat anything

i cant eat anything while in the mines? and also hard to eat while not in the mines i have to click it alot

How can you eat at all? I click left and right on the food but nothing happens...

I can eat sometimes but not others. I haven't figured out why yet. I just keep going in and out of menus and then left clicking on the food again. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. Moving the food sometimes works too. Move it to a different spot in your inventory and move it back.

I found if you highlight the food item, then left click on the ground you get the option, eat or not eat. Since figuring this all has been good. Love the candy eats and how easy to make them. The game is a lot of fun.

I discovered, completely by accident, that you need to have the food item highlighted in your hotbar and then left-click somewhere on the screen (above the hotbar).
