Once past 1200 (noon) just subtract 12. But yes an option for the time would be nice.

Wow I never thought that this could be a problem. Maybe because im used to both variants I have no problems. Better they add pm and am because I'm sure you are not alone.

never thought people wouldn't understand 24 hours and i thought 24 hours is the best. but i think there should be an option indeed

24 hour clocks are superior, why would you want to willingly use AM/PM?

The OP already told us why.

Takes minimal effort to learn 24 hr time... Just add 12 to whatever time it is after noon, boom 24 hr time. Taught my niece when she was 6 lmao. Same with Metric over standard

As someone who grew up with AM/PM time, no it's really not that easy. Having to do mental math every time someone mentions a time after noon slows down and interrupts your thought process when you don't have the same instinctive reaction to the number 17:00 as you do 5:00pm. It takes conscious effort to have it be natural feeling, and since almost no one I know ever uses it, there'd be very little point.

Yeah i get you like it more and it feels more logical, but it isn't instinctive to a lot of people.

i have a learning disability. so that way i would like them to add AM and PM.

if +12 is too difficult, people can also just do +2 or -2. just use the second digit.

17h -2 = 15.... 5pm
15 -2 = 13... 3pm
4 +2 = 6... 16h

:)

I get you're trying to be helpful, but the problem isn't the difficulty of the math, its the fact that it's not instinctive for those who don't see it used (I don't see 1800 and think "ah yes dinner time" i think "???? wait its minus 2 hm thats 6 right? lemme double check yeah its 6 okay thats dinner time, wait what was i doing?"). This REALLY interrupts your train of thought, which, in a game of this genre, where you have to juggle a lot of different tasks, losing your train of thought can mean forgetting something important like watering your crops.

I agree with the OP. I went looking under settings for an option to change the clock to AM PM. It's not instinctive for everyone like has been mentioned. Myself included in that group.

I'm glad I can understand both standard and military time.
