Jump on the bongos in Bongoman's house.

Jump on the drums inside the drum guy's hut.
The sequence is R-L-R-R-R-L-R

only the small drums?

There are only two drums you can play by jumping on them, so chances are you're expected to use those.

There's a keyhole in a wall near Twig's house in Mesos.
