Owlboy
How long does it take to complete the game?
Just curious. Some reviewers have posted a review with 5 hours of play time. Was wondering how long this game is. Thanks.

It depends how much of a completionist you are. Without a guide, and trying to get all the things, it took me about 12-13 hours to do it all. It took a bit of searching for some of them though, and I backtrack a lot, but that's the rough amount.

Maybe you can, if you speedrun the game... But i have the same feeling bro, people who try to review something they didn´t even play. like, why would anybody do that, i understand if you are trying to get an achievment or something like that, but if that guy is trying to be something that he isn´t, is really lame.

I have 11h on the clock and am not done jet. But it schould come to an end soon. Havent been to serious about completing it but do enjoy droping in from time to time for some puzzels.

In my case this will take forever. Game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring i couldn't force myself to play it longer than 2 hours. If gameplay is more important than graphics for you, avoid this one. Just not included here. Also no decent story, dialogs, anything. I heard they spent 10 years to make it which is hillarious

Geez. Do you even games, guys? You can't say any mechanic in this game is developed well. Combat sucks, enemies do not provide any challange unless there's like dozen of them on the screen and game transforms into bullet hell. Character doesn't have any special or alternative abilities, so you fight all enemies the same way - hover around and click the hell out of them. Moving through locations is incredible boring, cause it's all about holding one button and watching your owlboy slowly glides given direction. No obstacles to overcome, nothing that could make this game arcade. Devs clearly couldn't couldn't combine infinite flying ability with level design.

Compare it to other arcade indies like Shovel Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, Iconoclasts, Mark of Ninja, Necrodancer, etc, and you'll understand what am i talking about. Even FEZ is better as a platformer, despite the fact it's a game about solving riddles.

Owlboy is just a boring ride between cutscenes

Storywise - i don't know. Beginning wasn't prosiming, it was bland, plain, predicitable and uses stanard scheme multiplied million times. You're complete failure, nobody likes you, your world is attacked by evil, and of course you're the only one who can fix it. Dialogs are just painful to read
