When using gamepad it constantly switches to keyboard mouse mode?
Pretty much every time I press Left Trigger and other times the game switches into mouse mode.... how can I force gamepad mode and not have it ever try to be anything else?

You can also completely disable input swap.
Go in C:Users/YOUR NAME/Saved Games(change depending Windows language)/Owlboy/Config/open the file Options.ini with notepad or other word editor, and change "DisableInputSwapping" to True.
Save and enjoy.

I'm having the same problem with RT.

I was actually having the problem with RT as well.. despite my idiocy with not knowing my left from my right.. the question still stands.

Though I did notice that if I set it to windowed mode instead of full screen then the problem went away.. also in windowed mode there was no tearing, as with full screen, even with v-sync turned on I had tearing.

I changed the Controller Configuration in my Settings to XBOX Controller instead of the default and then ran it in Big Picture. Worked great.

I was having the same problem. Switching to windowed mode sorted it out, right up until I tried to aim and shoot at the same time, then it not only switched to keyboard and mouse intermitantly (as in, not every time), it Also randomly alt-tabed away from the window (which at least caused the game to pause/freeze until I clicked back into it.) didn't minimize it or anything though, so wasn't imediately obvious.
So far as I can tell, I had set it to x-box controller first... running it in big picture mode is the next thing I'll try, I guess.

Ahh, found another thread with an actual solution to the problem:

might help.

Thanks! I changed the controller configuration to Xbox as default and the issue disappeared! (I'm using a Xbox one controller so I dunno if just doing this will work with otther controllers too)
