No sound for remote client

I was recently playing the game with a friend via remoteplay, he has no sound .

in steam remote play forum , one person said this was a issue on windows 11 24h2, the previous version didnt have it

some people also said it was steam update that caused no sound issue. idk what the truth is anymore.

i installed win10 22h2 with november 2024 cumulative updates today and now remoteplay with friend has sound...
