As far as contracts go, those are negotiated by changing the terms of the contract rather than changing the numbers. I’m not a fan of the “change a number over and over until they accept” mechanism that other booking sims use, it just seems like a hassle really.
As for contracts, this makes sense, but is there a way for a "bidding war" to be started, like if I offer a contract to Wrestler A, they'll wait a bit to see another offer from another company to either accept something better or not. I'm curious is all. Thank you again!
I would disagree. I think there should be an option to do either way. I would prefer to offer more money instead of options depending who I'm trying to get. Maybe if there were more options in what can be given to a worker than the ones we have, but I still prefer a money option change.
Something similar to this method is used in sports console games. You can offer max amounts as long as it is under your salary cap but instead of just offering a billion dollars, it is incremental and doesn't guarantee even with the max money, they will sign. There is more complexity such as team (in this case company) image and current rankings.
