Samsung odyssey+ windows mixed reality controllers not working (FIXED)

So i was excited to get this game until i loaded it up and found on the tutorial screen explaining controls nothing worked. if i look down i can see my hands but the controllers seems to get disconnected as soon as the game loads.

I would be very grateful if someone could explain how to fix this issue.

UPDATE!

The developers have now fixed the odyssey+ controller issue as of 24th October 2019. I have tested the first two chapters myself on a very modest computer, and can confirm the game is now perfect to play.

You can return the money or wait until it is fixed, from what i understand the standard version is compatible. but i have not heard anything from the developers that the deluxe edition is going to be fixed.

We have never formally supported WMR controllers. However, you might have better luck after the patch that rolled out today. Make sure you download it.

Yes everything works perfectly now i updated this post when the patch was released and did a basic review.

Hi just bought the game. Am using WMR. for the life of me I cannot operate the radio at the beginning, any thoughts? All other controls etc seem to be working. cannot figure out interaction

Never mind, have figured it out. Still can't get teleport to work though. Game is F**King terrifying...well done.

hi, how did you made the xbox controller work ? I have WMR like you samsung odyssey +. Trying to use the xbox controller but nothing happen. The 2 hands stay on the floor and no buttons work exept the xbox center button. Thanks for any help

Hi the game does not support xbox controllers unfortunately Daemon.

ok and does it support any type of gaming controller ?

It does support the Dual Shock gaming controller for PS4, but that doesn't really apply here. Do you have a very old Oculus that didn't come with tracked motion controllers?

Hi, thanks for the answer. I play with Odyssey + and it works perfectly with the WMR controller. Its just that i would have prefered to play with a gaming controller. But the game is so good that it does not matter much. I hope a sequel will be coming. Thank you.
