Stuck in floor/cant move hands (OCULUS QUEST)

Hello, I have just bought the game and am having trouble playing it. As soon as I start the game I am immediately stuck either half way or fully in the floor and am unable to move my hands or use any menus/controls for the game.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have already tried re-calibrating my guardian space and restarted the game/pc/oculus several times
Is there anything else I can do?

I am having the same problem as well. uninstalled and reinstalled the game a few times, redid my guardian space, i am on oculus rift s

Honestly, since we launched the Quest version of the game last year, we haven't tested the title with Quest and Oculus Link. This is most definitely an issue with steam and Oculus working together. Just out of curiosity, is the Oculus app also open on the computer as well as Steam?

Yeah, I've made sure to keep the oculus app open with the link.
the exorcist is unfortunately the only game in my library that has issues of any sort

yeah I have the rift s, and I just got the game. The first thing it does is put me below the boundary in the office. Not sure how to fix this. Run through steam with the oculus app open

I am having the same issue. As soon as i get the cross i hear the whispers and i fall through the floor and end up in the main room looking at the back of the Mary statue and a door with the 4 marker by it. Cant move out of that space. Only thing i can interact with is the cassette recorder

Same problem. After i get the cross out of the save i teleported in the church and stuck and can't move.Is this a bug?

I am having the same issue, just bought the game today and am using the oculus rift and made sure to have the oculus app running in the background.

Wolf and Wood is looking into this- but all of these types of issues directly deal with people using the Rift S on Steam.

They suggest the following:

After you run the game from Steam, you may get the Oculus loading environment again. You may have to select Steam/Exorcist a second time from within the Oculus loading environment. The game will be paused until you do this and then will continue the load after completed.

Also,

Some Steam+Rift users are forcing Oculus mode (Oculus entitlement check error, which is caused by running on the Oculus platform without owning the game on the Oculus platform). If running on Steam go to the game properties, click the 'general' tab and press the 'Set Launch Options...' button. Make sure that the text field is empty to launch the game with SteamVR. Then launch the game.
