Thais Help (Spoilers!)
So, I'd really like to give Thais her due before this playthrough ends and make her pay for her crimes. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where I can speak to Elpis in Howler's-Dell to try and ask her for the druids' support in overthrowing Thais and she won't do it.

She agrees Thais is out of control, that she's gone too far, even that the druids share the blame for what happened to Steep House. I have evidence from Eudocia's plant that the druids cursed Steep House's fields, and Elpis seems distressed when I tell her about the contents of the scroll Thais gave me, which the monk at the monastery read for me to reveal her plotting to bring in the Unite priests. I worked with the elder forest speaker to cure Old Pagos of its plague. She is to the point of healing me when I'm wounded (even got the one-time free full heal) and being willing to talk, but then it goes south.

When I ask her whether she'll help, however, she says she can't and she has to look out for her own first. It proves to be a trap because Thais already has hunters and soldiers in hiding, and Elpis and I get brought before her. She sends Elpis away, has me beaten up no matter my reaction, and then gives a victory smile before telling me to get out.

There must be that one something out there I'm not doing to get the druids' support, but I can't figure it out. I'd talk to Elpis and then go to the elder down south to try and get him to help, but you can't since you're trapped by the time you speak to Elpis. The only thing I can think I didn't do was give Elpis Beholder's fruit, instead of giving it to the elder forest speaker to cure Old Pagos. Ideas?

EDIT: Also occurs to me that during the conversation with Elpis, there's a "you know you trust me" choice with a roll involved. I have never gotten her to outright agree, and I've sunk to quick loading quite a lot trying. Could also be a factor.

EDIT 2: Got her to agree that she and her neighbors do trust me, finally. Unfortunately, she still declines when asked if she'll help me.

EDIT 3: Success! There was, in fact, one more thing -- I forgot that I paid Dalit to clear out the goblin lair in Steep House. I went back and explored, and saw the tree painted in blood, same as the tree in Howler's-Dell. This opened another dialogue option to press Elpis to help, and combined with a successful roll to get her to admit to trusting me, an end was finally put to Thais' role. Got it done just ahead of my forced departure, no less!
