Help with Jewelry crafting
So, the recipe doesn't give any indication as to what you need, other than the crystals. I can mouse over ingredients in my inventory and they will say "effective" or "ineffective".

Is there an easier way to determine HOW to craft these things?

Use a recipe and you will see what you to need for this recipe. Most of time you need to go Fenhall Ruin (other items will be used later) .And maybe you don't open rn any ingridients. It's use a random ingridients always.ALso when you open recipe and it's say "effective" if you look in items on your inventory that mean you can use this ingridient on this recipe (if it's 85-90% effective per gem if i'm remember correct) It's also depend on jewel catalyst type,

Like potent jewel crystal L(12 items) + Frost spawn heart (257% effect) if we craft magic gem, only one heart use to 3 gem) And if we use 4 heart we can make a 12 magic gem (and they be more powerful bcs of better jewel crystal and ingridients)

The system is a little odd for sure. I thought I had it worked out but then it seemed not.
Here are a couple of things to help you. (Maybe)

This seemed correct at 100% success however I had some trouble with a combine when I attempted it at less than 100% success where the following seemed inaccurate so I cannot be sure.
If you open your inventory to your components you can mouseover each one quickly and the usable components will have a green text and a potency value.
I think you need 100% potency to craft a jewel so 2x250% = 5 crafts.
You only usually need one component plus a gem if it is over 100% but for weaker items say you have 3x20% and 4x10% you can put each one into a slot and it totals 100% and all will be consumed in one attempt.
I don't really know how it effects strength but the better the potency the stronger the gem. How exactly I don't know.
As I said - I thought it was right but maybe not. The post above makes me wonder what I don't understand yet but it might help you a bit.

Really the valid components need to either highlight clearly to reduce searching bags or all valid components should link to the craft window where you can select what you want.

Also the gem consumption seems bugged in our favour but the gems are cheap so it's no biggie.
Say you put in a potent large gem and set it to craft 10 items it consumes just one gem from your bag. I do not know where this step fails. You may need the valid amount in your bag to initiate the multi-craft or not, I am unsure. I have heaps as I repeatedly bought enough for all my gems before realising this was not using them properly.
