Basically if you unlock all the levers and manage to get out the final ladder and get the gold chest, just walk to the left to enter the area where Nameless is stuck
anyhow got my companion, also google has no idea about this game lol i searched allover for maps before coming to this forum , im not big on discord normally. but ill check it out sounds like many useful infos are there.
thanks again
And it's the second one in the game.
can you add well visible markers on every map for stairs? It would help everyone a lot with the navigation issues.
Also is fog of war something very hard to do? I have no idea of how hard it is, but would be cool if the dungeons had fog of war until explored
Yeah, this dungeon is driving me absolutely nuts.
I'm killing enemies without much problem but trying to navigate the dead ends in this maze and multi-layer levels with only a static map is simply frustrating me.
I have spent a couple of hours going up and down stairs and flipping levers, killed the dude in the square prison but still have not been able to access the middle of the castle where the ability coin is, let alone find the lever to free Nameless.
Hopefully I can get some help from the maps you linked to.
edit;
I checked over at Discord and another poster mentioned he was stuck at 80% completion of Fort Hinuol, exactly the same as me. Unfortunately there was no further comments, though it makes me think that we both must be missing the exact same thing, o_O
Further edit:
OMG!
Those map links helped me.
Looking at the first map I realised that D4 ladder must be a way to get to a corridor that I was unable to get to.
And sure enough it was. Though why I missed it is a mystery to me. I was sure I had gone up and down every ladder. Perhaps when I switched another lever it opened something up around it.
Dunno.
It took me about 3 times going through the dungeon to find it. It's been a few days but I believe the path is directly south of the Trapped Warrior. There should be a ladder there that takes you back up to the first floor and the path to the next ladder up is in that area to lead you back outside to free him. Apologies if I'm not being as specific as I could be but I do remember the ladders in question were very center of the map and easy to miss.
By the third time I was doing a systematic sweep through each level to find it. It's there though, don't lose hope. I can assure you it isn't bugged.
I just finished it, took like 6 hours lol.
Yes, I agree with this!!! Would make the game so much better
I know that grinding some areas might be necessary at some stages of this game but it would also be nicer if it was up to the player where they grind rather than be forced into grinding certain dungeons only because they became lost.
It would also be cool if there was a later dungeon that for some reason (story related or maybe due to a boss?) was designed to get lost in. That the fog of war doesn't work so you have to stumble your way through a bit. But maybe only certain sections, not the whole map. This is just a general idea for these types of games, not necessarily this one. That would probably be something you'd have to have in mind during development.
But I think a fog of war shouldn't be too hard to add. (He said without any idea how difficult it actually is in general, in a game that's already complete, or for this engine.)
