Its just the road map and even then Vic has said its not a guarantee. It depends on the game continuing to be financially viable and of course something he wants to work on.

If you aren't already you can opt into the beta via steam to get the most recent updates, I think the beta is a few updates ahead of the live version.

Well hopefully it will be worked on, I would recommend using some better tiles / graphics ( its quite easy, moders did it and the game will look way better and be more approacheable to the others). This is the best 4X I ever played

I think this is Vic's most popular game

This game has multiple times the reviews of the rest of his games combined. I don't think there is a lack of interest in the game from a customer standpoint.

This is preposterous given that SE has received a constant flow of free updates for 5 years. The flow of updates has slowed down, suggesting he is working on something indeed. Republica is a fair bet, although I think Vic mentioned working on another project. I had the impression it wasn't SE related back then, but it's been a while so I'm not sure of the exact context.

Any DLC I would buy straight away, this game is a gem, I have graphic mods and it looks super coool. And the game itself - what a masterpieace

I believe Vic is working on the "Republica" DLC. No estimate on when it will come out, hopefully 2025! Needless to say, I will be buying it day 1. I have gotten way more than my moneys worth out of this game.

I will definitely buy any DLC that is coming, regardless of the content. This is still one of my favorite games ever and I bought it originally at launch, so I've been playing it for quite a few years now.

This is the only game I throw money at the screen at the slightest hint of DLC

I waited all my life for something like this and it just does it for me.

This game could be the dwarf fortress of 4x games.
