End your turn. At the begining of your next turn, the air bridge order is carried. IF it is not shot down (ie not all your planes retreat or are destroyed), the air bridge will be successful, which will create a logistic connection between the hex. The letter should still be there in the target hex.
You can then use strategic move between the target hex. However this is only possible if the capacity of your airplanes is large enough to fit what you are trying to strategic move. In theory it's possible to move some tanks (I think not bigger than mediums), in practice it's hard to move anything but infantry sized units.
