Reducing corporate domination?

Is there any way to reduce corporate domination besides running anti-trust ops? I've got way more zones with corporate domination problems than I have the right strategem cards.

For example would it help to reduce commerce score, reduce investment and private assets, I'm thinking maybe I've overdone it on private sector development as I have a high commerce score and a strong private sector economy, and now I have a huge issue with corporate domination in most zones.

Ask CEO of corporation for 'Board member' card and give it to governor of the city where you have problem. That should stop growth of corp in that city. Also I think that commerce profile level is also acting as cap for corp control - the higher it is the cap is getting smaller (you would have to find it in changelists - I think it was implemented few months ago).

Good advice. I call the CEO asap and hand the board membership to someone with high charisma or INT, as the board members get a CHA bonus and depending on corp career, an INT bonus, too. I favor interior counselor and foreign affairs.
Corp + Commerce works really well, the people love living in filthy rich environments.

I don´t understand that, could you please clearify: If the commerce profile is going up the corp control goes down? Or the other way round?
