Energy Lance artifact

My workers recently made an archaeological find!
Any ideas what this item is doing in numbers?
Seems, it should increase unit's "hard" anti-tank effectiveness, but at what scale? (no info in manual or tooltip).

It gives +200 extra attack points against motorized and armoured targets including walkers. It affects one subunit it's attached to.
You are lucky I've never found any artifact using archeology. I have some via the Ancient Deposit stratagem card.

Well the artifact card only shows possible deposits for artefacts. You still need to build a recycler to find them.

This is a general problem, really. All the cards which add feats to units (not just artifacts, but also some fate and normal strategems as well) should tell you what the feat's effects are, so that you don't need to waste the first card you get of that type on giving it to a random unit, just so that you can then check the unit details to find out what the feat does.

IIRC, this information is also available (even for feats which aren't available to you) somewhere in the "Help" section of the reports, but I don't recall where exactly and you may need to see the feat in-game first to "unlock" the details on it in the report.

Thanks for the hint. I didn't know they are listed there. Indeed you can browse the full list in Help > Stratagem Encyclopedia > ARTIFACTS tab
But sadly the tooltips contain only the text from the card without any details. I agree it would be great to read more details but maybe this is intentional?
