Luxury resources were definitely mentioned by Vic on a recent podcast. However in game trade IS important its just buried behind reports if you want to see the actual impact. I would suggest reading the section in the manual regarding trading houses.
An MTH zone would be interesting for sure. I guess we need to see what the game looks like after a rework on navies.
Hard disagree, minors are great and should always be in the game. Integration actually boosts majors quite a bit (they seem to be able to do it a lot faster than players) as it gives them new zones without the need to conquest. There are also so many great minor variants in the game right now. Without minors boarders would never need to be protected as majors cannot violate other majors boarders without a war. And without minors who would occupy the vast wastes?
Agreed on cultures, would like to see a rework there. It seems a bit weird that a blood thirsty set of raiders will become good honest working citizens within a year.
This might have been on the long term plan.
Never managed to make 1k in sales tax or tariffs. Meanwhile i can make tons of money with income tax.
