I went to my install location changed userdebugger.txt to true
I'm starting the game and can't see anything different. ` or enter keys don't work
just to be clear, after setting false to true in the debugger.txt and on turn one you couldnt find debug under the mng tab near the top mid left of the screen?
or were you looking for something within the debug menus? b/c thats a disaster so it would be faster to tell us what you were after and we might know
I enabled the flag and I do see some debug thingies here and there. but not no list of ids or anything in mng.
I am running open beta
take the trader section for example;
this image is from the first turn of my last run, from the top you see im under the mng tab, further right shows im under the debug tab which is right of blueprints, and bottom left shows im under library 12, sub library 190. if you cant see this in your game i have no idea what happened. couldnt figure out how to get the steam print screen working again so had to use something else.

Do you happen to know if there is a way to change the regime colors in the dev mode?
i cant remember finding something that does that but it might be possible as there's so much that can be edited mid run so its probably in there somewhere. not sure if its worth digging through the thousand or so lists to find it, if it even exists, and hoping it doesn't crash the game.
would probably be faster to just make a suggestion topic asking to change it in game.
or if they can tell you where it is XD
Yeah my thoughts exactly looking through the dev mode lists. Thought I'd at least ask in-case you knew the answer off-hand.
I've also made a few suggestions that never went anywhere. Then again, it's just Vic doing the programming.
Thanks!
Also, same with portraits. I think I've changed everything in 132 but the portrait is the same.
fate points are further down, once you know what your # is you need to scroll down until you see it a 2nd time, it will be called fp. depending on luck it might be right under the first set of regime info.
140 is portraits but ive never messed with it
if you're referring to changing resources on the world map I've never found a way to do that. the best way so far to get a bunch of resources is changing what the merchant(trader keys, main lib 12, sub libs 188-190) for your zone has and setting the price to 1 then giving them a bunch more than you need and buying them with the credits you can give yourself under the regime keys(sub lib 146, it's no longer always 4).
now, to change a world resource it is possible with cheat engine but you need to be harvesting it so it changes each turn. You might get lucky on some of the resources being so high so there's only one result but most of the time there's a bunch of matches. I haven't played in a while but I think it was 4bit.
changing a salvage resource was impossible for me unless it has an artifact on it, mostly because I'm too lazy to deal with it, to tell you how much salvage remains.
I hope this helps, gl
Hu bro, thanks for ur answer. i can change credit and fate points, i can edit 2 000 000 000 (billions) hahaha but i dont understand for the resources....i understand nothing
have u discord or soemthing? just show u if u can?
now, since I'm not sure if by resources you mean for trade or on map i will list the process for both.
trade menu:
the biggest downside to this is it needs to be repeated each time you start a new run or need a massive amount of resources as the price change throughout a run.
step one: click on the trade menu on the mid right of the screen, go to sell and see how many credits the merchant has.
step two: in the debug menu at the bottom left are the main libraries, click 12) SE_trade.
step three: to the right are the sub libraries / tables, open 188) trade regions and look for matching credits, this will give you your trade region id.
step four: open table 190) trade items and locate the matching id. next to the trader id is the item id, don't change these.
step five: change reserves and shop qty to 999999, then buy price to 1. anything under 1 wont be shown.
step six: close out and return to the trade menu on the right to buy what you need.

resource editing on the global map:
this can not be stressed enough, i have no idea how to do it through the debug menu and no one that does is sharing.
step one: locate the resource you need, this is mostly luck based on your spawn and i cant help you here. you should, at least normally, get water, oil, and metal in your starting area or near it.
step 2: build the required mining platform.
step 3: once built select the hex the resource is located on to see how much is actually there bottom right.
step 4: open up cheat engine, select the game process, and do a 4 byte search(default setting) for the number listed bottom right of the map screen.
step 5: if you don't want to wait for next turn you can do what i do, take all of the results, unless there's a over a dozen of them, and start changing them one by one.
this change won't be reflected in game until you tab back into the game and click on the hex with the resources again.
undo the changes that don't match the resource location just to be safe. changing too many things at once could cause the game to become unstable or crash.

this should be everything, good luck.
