how get New Patch v1.10.04 for Shadow empires? SOLVED
My game v1.01.01. Not have steam version. GOG, I think. Searched web - nada - Including slitherine site. Unlike Distant Worlds series, that had update button built in - SE doesn't.

I don't think SE is on GOG yet, so if you didn't get it on Steam, you got it from the Matrix site.

Anyway, look in the games install folder for an 'Update Shadow Empire' executable. In a normal Windows install, you can also find this under the game's folder in the Start menu.

ANSWERED. I purchased game directly from Matrix. My problem =
- I had initial release (v 01.01.01)
- found update button buried in nest of folders. Hit button. REQUIRES v01.05 yada.
No update patch for v01 to v05 exists. Solution?
RE download full version of game (v05) from Matrix. THEN
update to v10.

Why no patch update from initial version to v05? I'm clueless.
