Is there a way to turn off screen edge mouse scroll?

When my mouse is at an edge of the battlefield map it cause the map to scroll. Is there a way to turn that off so that I can either use the WSAD keys or a mouse-button-down drag?

WASD isn't supported, but arrow key movement is. WASD will not come anytime soo, and individual keybindings neither.

A is Artillery fire hotkey, and S is strategic movement hotkey.

Thanks. But there is no way to turn off map edge scroll. That is my #2 pet peeve in games and a refund offence for me. Too bad I bought the game directly from Slitherine.

Turn on Windows mode and map edge scroll is gone.

In SE directory, windows.txt.

Thanks. That works but it offsets the screen about 10 pixels to the right.

Do you know what dpi_by_windows does? I tried setting it both off and on but noticed no difference

I think that is for if you have set a custom scaling factor in Windows, that switch is to honor it or ignore it.

thanks. I set up a custom window size in windows.txt

dpi_by_windows=off
windowed_mode=on
windowed_mode_w=2540
windowed_mode_h=1360

Then I can put the game nicely in the center of my 1440P monitor with no map edge scrolling.

I have keyboard software for my keyboard, so i did rebind the WASD into the 4 arrow keys, works perfectly, and with my software the change to the keyboard settings is only active when the shadow empire application is the main selected one, so works flawlessly, i actually rebind the entire games keys due to that i feel that all the hotkeys are trash by default

The Edge Scrolling bother me in mostly everygame, i didn’t know we could turn it off here.

For my screen in 1080p (1920*1080), i set :

dpi_by_windows=off
windowed_mode=on
windowed_mode_w=1920
windowed_mode_h=1032

Now, i have to chose if i prefer fullscreen with edge scrolling, or windowed without... Gniiiiiii

I too have 1920x1080, but 150% magnified everything (Windows10).
I had to play with numbers a bit, because there is a bug when tooltips doesn't appear in "windowed" mode with certain window dimensions (should be slightly less than the actual dispay res).

In "GFX+Resolution" Speed = OFF
