How frustrating is this game?
So, i've heard about this game last week, courtesy of 3MA (speaking of which, i bet if there was a small discount it would sway more people. not many, but still), and i get that the game is hard and has many genres, facets and what not. Thing is, i can deal with hard games, but i have little patience for frustration. EU4 for example, the game is hard, but 1: there's no win condition, so i don't get frustrated if i do badly and 2: i have the option to take it slow (for example, choosing a big land-locked country, so i don't have to deal with trade, navy, colonization, all that). From that viewpoint and other, how frustrating is this game? Basically, does it have an easy mode or is save-scummable or something?

Eu4 has more to learn than this game . This game is enjoyable and different and a bit more complicated than a civ game . I thought the game explained itself pretty well , better than eu4 does

you will not know what you are doing much in your first game but if you like strategy board games or war-games its familiar . Learning how OOC’s work and what research to do , or what councils to have etc.. they become like build queues , you learn what is good or a quick check o the web . Like eu4 you will learn a dozen new things each game. After a couple of half games i felt i knew the basics.

logistics is important , Lear how that works . the game has good tools to understand it.

restarting om a good map is something i found myself doing , that is a good advantage while learning

doing badly is fine , the first few games dont count as they are practice . :)

If Eu4 is harder then this game isnt ba4d at all. I thought Hoi3 was harder then eu4 ck2 or hoi4. Good to know Im going to get it now. That helps me a lot.
