you will not know what you are doing much in your first game but if you like strategy board games or war-games its familiar . Learning how OOC’s work and what research to do , or what councils to have etc.. they become like build queues , you learn what is good or a quick check o the web . Like eu4 you will learn a dozen new things each game. After a couple of half games i felt i knew the basics.
logistics is important , Lear how that works . the game has good tools to understand it.
restarting om a good map is something i found myself doing , that is a good advantage while learning
doing badly is fine , the first few games dont count as they are practice . :)
If Eu4 is harder then this game isnt ba4d at all. I thought Hoi3 was harder then eu4 ck2 or hoi4. Good to know Im going to get it now. That helps me a lot.
