In the cloud itself, keep in mind you can only attack her after she has attacked and is dim/recharging. To do this, bait out the first attack by staying far enough away that she won't home in on you but close enough that you can run up and start punching after they hit the ground. Once you hit them, don't stop as it will let you keep attacking until it automatically pulls her out for another attack. Basically, as soon as you see you're not hitting her anymore and she's jumping into the sky again, just roll. It should keep you safe and the you can just turn around and go back to hitting her. You just do this three times for the first two phases.
The third phase she will occasionally explode, so it's more or less the same strategy but if you notice she is standing still instead of jumping into the air after she breaks the combo, then prepare to roll away from the blast rather than just off to the side. Timing on it can be a little tricky, and it's probably easier to wait until just before the blast and roll than to try to escape the damage area. Once you complete this phase you're in the clear.
Also, worth noting some perks don't seem to trigger on this fight (the ones that freeze all enemies etc). Positive Reacts Only has an interesting interaction in that the slimes it spawns will follow you into the Cloud and distract the boss, but this can make locking down the pattern a little annoying. I mostly went for stuff that let me move/avoid faster/survive/crit
