Help obtaining dank gaming rig

How am I supposed to get this? Despite never buying anything from the shops and equipping the skill that gives me a discount at shops, it's always way more than I have. Swomp never steals it for me, and I can't use Ray's card to get it. What gives?

what I did was equip Swomp and buy as many other items I could from the shop. he shoplifts randomly from what is still available, so I bought everything I could to increase the chance he would shoplift the gamecubicle

yeah swomp is a really good idea, plus I'm pretty sure he'll shoplift it when he sees it. first time i encountered it he stole it first try.

Rub it in. I tried it like 30 times before I posted this. Then I bought every other item in the store so he had to lift it for me.
