rebind controls please?

i know not everyone is gonna have this problem but my s key is broken so i have to rebind in to X in every game that i play and i was really excited to play this game and i could finally get it only to find out i cant play it

I'm surprised you don't use a key remapper already, if you have a broken key, and such a commonly used one at that. I know it's no excuse for not be able to rebind keys within the game, but it's a solution.

i mean i could do that but at the end of the day its pretty much the same i can rebind s to x or remap s to x

Second this. Key remapping is a standard feature by now. Not everyone is the same, some people have an easier time reaching different keys than the norm, so they should be able to remap the controls to whatever they want. Was actually really surprised to find the controls page didn't let you rebind, makes the game feel unfinished.

in this day and age, developers still don't realize that not all players use the same control scheme to play games?
not allowing players to rebind keys is inexcusable. That's a standard feature that should be included in EVERY game

Same. The pains of being a left-handed gamer. I just downloaded Sharpkeys to remap my keyboard and I'm going to give this another go with a more comfortable setup. If it's still no good then I'll just get a refund sadly.

I can excuse no rebinding using a gamepad since Steam allows an easy work arround... but not for keyboard? That's just basics :(

Just got this game and I agree, I immediately went to the options to mess with the keybindings only to find they don't have that as a feature which is kind of abnormal these days. It's difficult for me to have the switch weapon button as C and the dodge as spacebar when in most games I play C is dodge so it's been really confusing when there's already such a steep learning curve for playing the game well.

+1 for rebinding keys.

I hate having space as dodge in any game, and I shouldn't need a 3rd party program to fix it.

I also hate X and C as weapons swapping keys. It's not so bad because mouse scroll works, but it's still annoying.

Rebinding keys should be standard for every PC game. Steam has a built in solution for gamepads, but that doesn't help KB+M players any.

This is PC game dev basics, and this game badly needs it because some of the bindings are just odd.

Yeah I uninstalled the demo ages ago because of the lack of keybinding, and I cannot believe it is still not in the game. Yes I know, "use a key remapper!" Or, and you need to sit down for this: instead do not buy this game and play one of the hundreds of other titles in my backlog that have key remapping?

yes. this absolutely needs to be a standard feature in any game ever! now i don't know how to make a game or how hard it is to add QOL improvements (assuming its something about melting things and magic) but this is extremely annoying! I tend to play games like this on a controller. but my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god, my brain doesn't understand that B isn't the dodge on controller. you can't even make the excuse of there not being a free button to use, when there is literally a button called "Select" or whatever the double square button in the middle is called.

Just played this game for a while on the switch and you can't remap the controls there either. And with all the other assist options, it's so weird that you can't remap the controls. Please add this feature. This game is so much harder when I'm constantly pressing the wrong buttons because I'm used to another game's fighting controls.
