Noag Can't Smash?

Just got to temple of hirin and noag's smash barrier doesn't work on anything in here, there's not alot of presence on this game other than reviews so I can't find anything about it. Is the game bugged? Am I missing something? Is noag not swole enough? Level 2 smash and nothing smashes

Small indie company bug apparently - did some digging online and watching videos of people who did playthroughs - noag casually smashes their barriers without issue but he just smashes on the barrier without affecting it on mine, tried respeccing in case level 2 was somehow inferior to level 1 and that didn't work so now I'm permanently stuck ~5 hours into the game. Anybody know a fix or is the game dead?

Not an indie company.
As for the issue, tried just verifying files, loading an older save, all that? Or maybe you're just mistargeting the barrier.

Actually i have the same bug, Noag cant smash the barrier at Hirins Temple right above the Portal to the Tribe Camp. No matter how i place it, it wont work. Blocks probably 2 Subquests for me and its quite annying

same problem, doing "A Secret Place" and the door will not smash no matter where i place the skill.

The circle for the spell is very small and you need to play around a bit for it to hit the barriers. The circle of the spell should highlight the barrier.

Saving game and reloading a new save worked for me.
(went to an old when entering temple of Shana, and it worked, then went back to my latest save and Noag smashing wall is BACK BOYSssssssssss

For me it always happened if I left the map too early - none of these barriers could be smashed when I return. Only reloads from before I left the map help.
