You can buy it as stand alone and play it as stand alone but it will work as a DLC for the other games.

Even the main menu looks like late Afternoon version of SH. I hope they will change it. It's not that it isn't nice, it is, but it's just not creative.

I have the 2 others on my steam account. Can I leave them uninstalled and still benefit from them ? ( like Soul Harvest new race )

Well, Burning Blood(vanilla SF3) and Soul Harvest(such lovely names!) have unique campaign experiences, that will most likely not be present in Fallen God, so you can leave them installed only for that. Details.

As great as the expansions are, I hope there's going to be a "Complete" edition that has all three in one, it's a lot more user friendly than having to continuesly download one game to play the campaign.
