3 So the best option for you would be for literally everyone to die? That kind of contradicts your 1st point.
Yeah, but wouldn't it be nice if a SF3 game was actually, idk, optimistic or something. While there might be hopeful endings, their stories are just awful in "everyone's a crying loser" way.
and i didn't even get the option to go try and defeat the chainers and tusk hunters on my own...
all the upgrades i got all of felt like a waist!
this one felt like a disappointment to me no point in replaying it.
Mature writing, perhaps, but I don't think that mature writing necessitates not being "100% winner" whatever that really means.
I looked the other ending and well, it look like the developers favor more where Noag dies and the Moonkin survive. While I don't mind bitter endings the one I got felt like I made the biggest mistake of my life while the other one felt more like you are truly rewarded for sacrificing Noag like it was nothing and Akrog just numb his mind to think that his brother is happy death, while in the ritual when Noag regain his mind he tells that the beyond is scary and awful.
The game is a good RTS with good story, good chracters, good gameplay but I would liked that both endings made me feel like either choice had a heavy price. Instead I got an ending telling me that wanting to save your blood is bad and that killing your blood is good.
As another poster pointed out, this part felt unnecessarily cruel, hinting that your lovable little brother is trapped in some awful afterlife forever and their god, Mugwa is just a lie.
Perhaps this is the developers' intention but giving Noag a "happier" send-off would have made that ending better in my opinion.
but i really wanted the option to fight the chainers and tuskhunters. I feel robbed of a final battle were all my treasure finds and upgrades would of paid off.
the story is a dead end no point in getting invested and going in and searching for upgrades and trinkets and better weapons is also point less because their is no final battle. I might have to leave a bad review on this one.... really unexpected.
not my take... in fact i think they ran out of time and that's why we didn't get a big rts battle finish.
Like.. holy hell, they really ran out of time.
It was like the time temple cut off 1/4th of the game with 'three days missing now your resources and all that opening of areas you did and research mean nothing lol' what the helll..
But the last few hours did indeed feel too...sudden. Another third ending, as the poster below quote hinted at, would've been nice. It's still surrendering to your ultimate demise but it's feeling a little more...brotherly.
