What is the "Survival" tag on the maps?

I notice all but one map is crossed out for survival, but I don't know what that is....

EDIT - I found out my UI was bugged, restarting my game fixed it.

EDIT 2 - it also shoved my game into a different language, and auto defeated me.

EDIT 3 - so yea, the game can't do survival yet, because it relies on heroes being alive, and if they aren't spawned yet then you can't even play because it counts them as dead....so that's a definite WIP

(no idea, as I'm playing pretty much exclusively default settings)

that's the problem, I can't find any option for survival.

I only have the standard three options, even on the one map which is survival enabled.

I am not sure if survival has already been rolled out completely.
