Keyboard and Controller Assist

I'm told this setting being toggled off will help make this game driveable with my Fanatec CSL DD2 wheel. When I go into the settings to do so, it is greyed out and inaccessible. What do? Any tips would be appreciated, really cannot tell you how long I've waited for a game like this.

I have SteamInput set to disabled.

The setting is grayed out, because the assists should automatically turn off when you hook a steering wheel into your PC.
We're currently investigating if this option works as intended for everyone. If you feel that the steering assists are still there even if on Simcade driving model and a wheel plugged in, please drop us a bug report here - https://jdmgame.com/drift-hub/bug-reports/
the mora data we have the easier for us it will be to find the problem and fix it.

Thanks for the reply,. will do some more messing around tonight and try a firmware reinstall to see if that helps. Wheel was detected as a Fanatec GT DD rather than CSL DD2.

Will put the report in tonight if I'm unable to find a fix, and if I do I'll update here.
