Please optimize
Greetings from south america, im having quite the trouble playing this game.
My PC, being as old as it is cannot run the game even though it can run other titles that ask for a fair bit of performance, i can run RE4 remake at mid graphics no problems.

My gpu is the one having the most trouble, and i cannot afford a better pc in the forseeable future.

Can this be optimized? will it? or should i just refund the game?

Looking forward to any and all comments from the devs

Performance for me is pretty good even at 4k but the stutters in the open world are really unacceptable for a racing game. They're unacceptable in any game, but it's worse in fast moving games like this.
Typical UE5 issues as usual.
I have a 5800X3D, 32gb of DDR4 RAM and a 4080 Super.
Please fix this, I'm really rooting for you since you're a smaller developer making a game none of the big publisher's seem interested in! You need this to be a W!

I actually want to buy the game, but i am quite concerned on if it will actually run, ive seen people here with specs way better then mines still complaining about performance issues, i have a gaming laptop so i dont expect much, it has a 3050ti and a ryzen 7 5800H with 16GB of ram so im not sure if it will run even minimun settings...

Hello I play on steam deck, and my game crash at the moment on the big parking, when you launch the mission, he crash during the loading... My config is low for all settings (I'm French, sorry for my bad English langage)

FR :
Bonjour les développeurs du jeu. le jeu est très bien, félicitation !
par contre les performances et l'optimisation sont catastrophique pour le moment. peu de fps et beaucoup de stuttering.

EN (google traduction) :
Hello game developers. The game is very good, congratulations!
However, the performance and optimization are catastrophic at the moment. Low FPS and lots of stuttering.

ma config :
i5 10400
rtx 3080
16gb ram
installé sur ssd m2
2560x1440

continuez votre bon travail

Game runs smooth for me in races, mostly smooth in open world but there are certainly hitches/stutters every so often, decent amount of FPS with no frame gen but regardless of what I set my settings to the stutter exists.
Starfox May 23 @ 8:27am
indeed, the game is not very smooth : tested on two configuration
5800x3d, 4070 Ti Super, 32 Go DDR4 3800 , SSD NVME 2 TO
and a very high end conf :
9950x3d ,5090, 64 Go DDR4 6000, SSD NVME 4 To

and it s not very smooth whatever the resolution and detail :(
too many stuttering.
I ma afraid it s caused by unreal engine like many other game on this engine.
Forza horizon 5 under Forza tech is just butterSmooth.

I love this JDM, just amazing game ! but actually I m not really enjoy it cos too many stuttering unfortunately

I'm on a rog ally z1 exetreme handheld and I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Game runs like absolute garbage.

I honestly think 100% of thr devs resources need to go into optimisation before anything else. No point having more content if people can't even enjoy the content that's already here.

Please get this game sorted as I really really want to enjoy it

how about you run it on a computer and stream it to handheld until performance has been improved? its been a few days since the game is out. it is early access, so give them a few years time to acclimate.

The game was really smooth on my 4090 until I drove a PARTICULAR vehicle, whole game became a stuttering jerking mess until I switched back to my usual cars.

5700 X3D, 6900XT, 32GB DDR4 3866 CL16.

1440p on high (not plus) and I have around 55 fps, so I must use TSR to get 60 fps, but still I have stuttering.

For comparation in Forza Horizon 5 I have 180 fps on Ultra.

I play the ally on a mobile hotspot from my phone. I doubt it'd stream well

RX6600 & R5 3600 barely 60 fps :C
Do you plan to reduce the loading time ?
The game is installed on a SSD Nvme, and despite that, the game doesn't care.

I notice the loading screen takes a lot of time when it is already at 90%-96%. Currently, the loading screen is taking at least 20-40 seconds+.

i truly hope they do something this is the only thing holding me back from buying it. i’m tired of UE5 that you have to “brute force it” with super high end gpu and sometimes even those have problems

For user steam deck, I advice to cut off auto-system-fan...the new update is bad for the game... Your steam deck will not overheated if you cute auto-system-fan , sorry for my bad language English I'm French
